Case 1. Modernization of a Manganese Beneficiation Plant
- Client Goal: Improve the recovery rate of a manganese ore processing facility suffering from fine particle losses and unstable concentrate grade.

Our Solution:
- Conducted detailed mineralogical and flotation testing in our R& D laboratory.
- Designed and deployed an optimized combined flowsheet: Gravity Concentration (for coarse particles) — High-Intensity Wet Magnetic Separation - Flotation (for fine slimes).
- Provided custom-engineered magnetic separators and commissioned the automation system (APCS).
- Industrial Outcome: Increased overall manganese (Mn) recovery by 12.4% and stabilized the commercial concentrate grade at > 42% Mn

Case 2. Eco-Recycling of Metallurgical Slag & Tailings

Client Goal: Extract valuable metal components from legacy industrial waste dumps (accumulated over decades) and remediate the land.

Our Solution:
- Developed a unique hydrometallurgical leaching and magnetic extraction technology.
- Conducted continuous pilot runs in our semi-industrial test facility on 5 - ton bulk sample.
- Engineered a modular commercial processing line for on-site slag recycling.
- Industrial Outcome: Successfully extracted high-grade iron Fe and manganese concentrates from waste. The remaining neutral silica-gypsum residue was certified as a safe additive for cement manufacturing, achieving zero-waste production.

Case 3. Pilot Production of Battery-Grade Precursors

Client Goal: Enter the European energy storage market by establishing a reliable production route for high-purity manganese materials.

Our Solution:
- Formulated a multi-stage chemical purification process for manganese sulfate (MnSO4) solutions in our R& D lab.
- Optimized precipitation parameters to synthesize ultra-pure manganese dioxide (MnO2) and precursors.
- Produced a 2-ton pilot batch of battery-grade raw material for international validation.
- Industrial Outcome: The product successfully passed stringent electrochemical testing by prospective buyers in Germany, validating Skarb’s process for commercial-scale plant design.
