Environmental Focus: Recycling of Man-Made Deposits & Industrial Waste
LLC “Skarb” pays special attention to the issues of involving man-made (technogenic) deposits into industrial processing. This direction is highly relevant for our region and the global mining sector as a whole.
In the Dnipro (Dnepropetrovsk) region alone, hundreds of millions of tons of industrial waste have accumulated over decades of heavy mining. We offer proprietary, scientifically proven technologies for the recovery and recycling of:
- Manganese and iron ore sludge
- Metallurgical slag and phosphogypsum
- Magnesium-containing waste (including talc shale and dolomites)
- Ash and slag from energy enterprises
High-Level Scientific Recognition
Our research and engineering work in this field is a direct continuation of the elite scientific school of the Mekhanobrchermet Institute. Our specialists have proudly participated in key state environmental and scientific programs, including:
- “Rare and Trace Elements in Ukraine” — a landmark state program developed under the leadership of Academician B.E. Paton, within the framework of which we successfully tested various raw materials (phosphogypsum, iron, manganese, and titanium-containing ores).
- “Obtaining Non-Ferrous Metals from Ores of Ukraine” — within which we developed innovative chemical extraction schemes.
- “Utilization of Red Mud from Bauxites” — focused on recycling alumina production waste into commercial-grade raw materials
Through our original technological schemes, we help industrial enterprises turn environmental liabilities into valuable commercial resources.
